Terms of Use

Welcome to Ask Dr. Linq.

By using this app, you agree to the following:

 

1. Relationship Guidance

This app is designed to provide insight, perspective, and general guidance in relationships. It is not professional, legal, medical, or psychological advice.

 

2. Response Accuracy

All responses are based on patterns, communication styles, and behavioral interpretation. While the app aims to provide clarity, it does not guarantee accuracy in every situation.

 

3. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes. Ask Dr. Linq is not responsible for any choices made based on the information provided in the app.

 

4. Personal Use Only

This app is intended for personal use only. You agree not to misuse, copy, or attempt to interfere with the app's functionality.

 

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your experience safe and secure. However, no system is completely immune to risks. By using this app, you understand and accept this.

 

6. App Updates

We reserve the right to update or improve the app at any time.

7. Payments, Credits, and Subscriptions

 

Credits System

The Ask Dr. Linq platform operates on a credit-based system. One (1) credit equals one (1) question or analysis within the app.

Credits are used in the following order:

  1. Subscription credits

  2. Purchased credits

  3. Free credits

Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

 

Free Credits

Free credits may be granted to users after account creation and email verification. These credits do not expire and remain on the account unless removed due to policy violations.

Free starter credits will not be reissued to accounts that were refunded, restricted, or flagged for abuse.

 

Purchased Credits

Credits purchased directly (for example, credit packs) do not expire and remain available on the user's account indefinitely, unless the account is deleted, the account is terminated for abuse, or a refund is issued for the purchase that created those credits.

 

Subscription Credits

Subscription credits are granted at the beginning of each billing cycle.

If a subscription remains active:

Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle

Unused subscription credits from the previous cycle do not roll over

If a subscription is canceled:

Any remaining unused subscription credits at the time of cancellation will remain available on the account and will not expire

No new credits will be issued after cancellation

 

Subscriptions (Apple & Google)

Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. By purchasing a subscription:

You agree to automatic renewal unless canceled

You must manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account

Billing and refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google under their respective policies

The Ask Dr. Linq platform does not control subscription billing cycles or refund decisions made by these providers.

 

One-Time Payments (Personal Response via Stripe)

Personal response services are one-time purchases processed securely through Stripe.

By purchasing a personal response:

You will receive a personalized response via email

Standard delivery time is based on availability

Priority responses are targeted within 48 hours, but may take up to 72 hours depending on volume

Priority processing moves your request ahead in the queue but does not guarantee immediate delivery.

Refund Policy

All purchases are final.

Subscription refunds are governed by Apple and Google policies

Personal response purchases made through Stripe are non-refundable once the request has been submitted

If a refund is issued by Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment processor, Ask Dr. Linq may remove any unused credits connected to that refunded purchase. Credits already used cannot be reversed.

After a refund, access to credit-based features may be restricted until a new valid purchase or subscription is completed.

 

Pricing

Prices may change at any time without prior notice. Changes do not affect completed purchases.

 

Account and Access Control

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that abuse the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Attempting to obtain repeated free credits through account manipulation

  • Misuse of the system or services

All decisions regarding abuse and enforcement are at our sole discretion.

 

8. Agreement

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

 

9. SMS Terms

Ask Dr. Linq uses SMS only to send one-time passcodes (OTP) for account login and verification.

We do not use SMS for:

Marketing messages

Promotions

Notifications outside of account security

These messages:

• Are triggered only when required for login or verification

• Are not recurring

• Do not allow two-way communication

Message frequency is limited to verification events only.

Standard message and data rates may apply.
